#AClassRealTalk Super Bowl 53

Super Bowl 53 took place at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and Mercedes-Benz USA wanted to capitalize on this. The ask was to build hype around the voice technology in its all-new A-Class. So we gave the first talking Mercedes-Benz its own voice in the big game with real-time audio tweets, taking part in the exploding twitter conversations that accompany the Super Bowl.

the tweet

We published over 30 tweets throughout the game, commenting on everything from big game ads to the half-time show. But with the fewest points scored in Super Bowl history, the A-Class had to get real.

Unfortunately, we were told to take it down. It wasn’t our fault! The car said it.

But In its few minutes of fame, the tweet got over 100,000 views and over 700 likes. A lot of people noticed. Yahoo, The Wall St. Journal, Entertainment Weekly, Ad Age, Ad Age again, NBC News, Daily Mail, Business Insider, AOL, and Adweek.

Other, marginally less controversial but still fun tweets.

We responded to the Turkish Airlines ad.

We flirted with Bubly water.

We weighed in on a less-than-spectacular halftime show.

We escalated things with Bubly water.

And we said goodnight.
